So all I can say is oops...I may or may not have dropped CodyChristopher.

So we made some lame o decision to get up at the butt crack of dawn...all the while knowing it would be worth it. We went to COPPER MOUNTAIN! Love love loved it! It was great to people watch and enjoy loads of hot chocolate! The weather was great and I hear there was great powder! Unfortunately I was unable to actually get the chance to carve it out today...seeing as I made the silly mistake of injuring myself last month. Oh well it was still beautiful out and great to be there! I love the winter time!

Because who eats coleslaw?! Honestly that was partly why I chose to downsize my meal. Ha ha so after she walks away Wil says I hate coleslaw I thought about just ordering it and not eating it. I know right? ANyways I guess you had to be there because it was a funny converstaion and I haven't embellished this one at all so you really have to use your imagination with it. Then of course the night continues but hey it's not as glam as you'd think. We finished up dinner and decided to make a short stop at the last few minutes of the Creche Exhibit. Now they changed it up a bit this year which is fine but I was a lil dissapointed. There wasn't a lot but still fun to look at what they had. I love nativities! Then they had a lil theatrical program going on so we stepped in to see it and man it was not what I expected. All in all it was fun to watch the lil bit that we did...the acting was in the nicest way I felt it butchered the story of the Christchild. The music was random and the voices flat...but oddly enough it didn't really matter because the spirit of christmas was there! I felt the spirit testify to me of the truth of what they were telling us. Their hearts were in it! We didn't stay long and since I didn't get to go to the parade of lights I told Rach to stop in a neighborhood and Wil and I grabbed some random shots of us with some fun decorated trees. I think that was the highlight of the night. Ah but so I thought because Wil and I were thinking hmm what should we do. We left Cody and Rachel to themselves and we headed out to paint what was left of out evenin. So where do we go? Wil's house. And those who don't know Wil lives with his bro Jim and His fam. So upon arrival we discover that we're locked out. SO much for our stay in and watch a movie idea because we couldn't get anyone to wake up to answer the door and eventually the night ends after we are too tuckered out to stay up. Long story short Wil went through a doggy door and we had wasted so much time getting in that we tried to stay awake and failed miserably. So much for that yeesh.
But really it was a great 'date' with Wil!
So then of course after the shin dig and deciding that we were def not going to see Twilight with everyone else we think on it and say hey let's go longboarding. Genious idea right? So we go and pick up not just Wil's board but his bro Jim as well. And we hit the road. So you enjoyin the play by play because it only gets better. So we're all enjoying the fresh pavement the smooth ride and the crisp november air. Nobody ate it at all we had a blast and by the end of the night Jim was limping and Wil got up to 28 mph at one point. So we get back to Jim and Ang's and oops Wil let's the cat out of the bag and mentions Jim got on the board. Def not our fight to fight ha ha so not funny but it totally was. Ang was not happy. So than onto later that night and me hopping on one foot and crawling into my house in the wee hours of the morning; regretting coming home in the first place. I awake the next morning with the dark cloud over my day of telling my parents I'm going to the ER. Well actually let me tell you how it went down. I crawl up the stairs and hop over to somewhere; not my first choice of a seat but long story short I couldn't walk. I had a swollen foot. My mum looks at me and says "hmm well I guess you better just stay off it for the day." Now I had to explain to her that that wasn't an option. I was in SO much pain but neither parent had interest in doing anything about it because they were oppossed to my whole longboarding thing as it was to begin with. So here I am waiting for my sister who was dragged out of bed at like 7 am to take me to the ER where I got to have my own room and watch the Turkey parade where all I remember is Buzz Lightyear.
While I sat there and had to explain what longboarding even is and had lame xrays and ice packs and lame stuff. I had to explain that a week earlier I had taken a fall on some bad ice and already hobled around; I didn't need this. Especially after I had just been through this a week before. Well yay for casts right because that's what they wanted to do but I talked them down to a walking boot. So imagine the response I got from Ang that night when I show up at the Craig's and she can't do anything but shake her head. Oh well I'm not letting this small set back put me out for the season. So I had a boot now I dont and I have a lame brace that doesn't even help so I don't wear it and it's snowing outside now so I'm happy because of that and I get to go to the parade of lights tonight I have a fun Christmas party every weekend for the next three weeks so I'm trying to stay excited for that and of course this means Christmas music 22/5 because I got to throw in some other stuff as well into the mix. I LOVE SNOW! Doin it Gilmore style is my is my fave...bundled up walking around with lights and snow~it's the best!

p.s. don't let this picture deceive you...all of this was cheap entertainment until we got to go...Wil just wanted to flirt all night; try and get his game back after being gone two years...props to him for having gotten two more numbers to add to his collection of girls to ask out. If he ever gets up the courage to do it. Oh and if you are wondering why I didn't up and leave HE is the reason...what dumb girl decided it would be a good idea to drive together??
Afterwards I dropped the kids off and headed home to tell my mum I took on the bishops quilt for his farewell party. Which meant ALL of it. LOL So I did what any daughter would do and recruited; mother and the sister missionaries. So we headed to the quilt store to get fabric and let me tell you those quilt ladies at the store couldn't get rid of us fast enough...it's as if we were ruining their lives by shopping there. I'm not bitter. So the sisters met up at my house and we went to work. We made a good dent within a couple hours so upon semi completion we decided to go out tracting; the weather was great and the company couldn't have been better! I love sister Kimball and Menke!
So I had a very bad day yesterday...ha ha not really. But it was an All Time Low. Ashlee and I were all pumped up to see them in concert and what a life ruining moment when we discovered...SOLD OUT!! What in the world-it was not a happy moment. Although we still had fun it would have been better with the concert. Next time right? WE tried to make up for our sadness by going to the Apple store. Didn't hit the spot but just enough to make us happy for a moment; we even ran into some peeps from crowfeet...

So it's crazy sometimes when you step back and kind of reevaluate things in life. But it sure can do you a lot of great goodness in your life, especially if it's as crazy as mine! For instance my trip to Idaho created in me a desire to take more advantage of what I do have and not try to just put more into my life. I am beginning to see how beneficial this can be to oneself. :) I had such a wonderful experience in Idaho and I was able to spend it with a wonderful family for the majority of the time. They welcomed me with warm hearts and loving arms!! Also I was able to trek to Idaho Falls and see the temple. One with which I have just fallen in love with since attending for the first time last summer. It had begun to snow when we got there and it made it that much more beautiful. I look forward to seeing it again next month!!

I mean maybe it looks good on blog but no not really. And then ah I know we should make some pizza in the oven to wash the brownies down with while we invite every girlfriend we know (who's not out with their boy-toys) to come over and veg with us!!
Seriously people I love being able to NOT go do these kinds of things. I enjoy being able to avoid it actually. So than I have some absolutely amazing friends that attend school up in this undisclosed area of Idaho in the middle of nowhere and I found it so hard to believe that since I was there for I don't know five days they all felt the need to tell me they wanted to see me every day. Weird, right? Well so I actually tried to do that and allow it and yeah it was fun I never got sick of them they always were like "wow that two hour lunch to [insert name of food joint here] was great but I gotta hit the books now Steph. But hey let's say in two hours we hit the road and take a trip to the mall?! (which I should mention is not even in the same vicinity so it is a road trip) Okay great pick you up then!" So no time to even say oh sure i'd love to or nah actually I'm good. Gotta love college eh? OH and then let's talk about the freezing cold. I swear I was actually screaming when I arrived and got out of the car. Let's just say I was NOT pleased with the bitter cold. But then I warmed up to the idea and feel in love and now I want to move there. People please is there some kind of AA but maybe we can call it IAA (idahoian addicts anoymous) I think that's what I need. Because I'm heading back in another few weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if I all of a sudden feel the need to go sign a contract somewhere. Anyways all in all it was a great weekend. And then last but not least I loved meeting the Porter famdeezy!! But that's another story within itself so I'll save that for another day! Loves!
