I had the opportunity to see the Mormon Tabernacle Choir this last month. Such a treat because after moving from Utah I wondered when I would see them again. What a wonderful evening peeps! I loved every minute of it and I got to see so many friends and family there that I hadn't seen in a while. The prophet of the LDS church; President Monson was in attendance and so it was a special treat to know He was there!

{is it bad to take pics of kids that don't belong to you?}

So Contagious

Ever heard of Acceptance? They are based out of Seattle. I happened upon them recently and they are growing on me day by day. Their lyrics call to me. I love them! One song in particular is So Contagious. It is kind of fitting at the moment of things that are taking place in my life. So if I intrigued you perhaps check 'em out. I feel like my life has at times been a lil crazy to say the least and that things are spiraling out of control. Funny thing is I always have control over my sight and how I view things. SO I guess I just lost focus for a time. I found this picture a while back I loved the way it made me feel. How does it make you feel?
It brings me to the next thing I want to share...I made a trip to the Denver Art Museum!! Something I've been wanting to do since moving here and it's never happened. They extended an exhibit I really wanted to see so I made the trip! Best decision ever peeps! I love art and I love the feelings that it can evoke and the emotions that come through. Don't you?

Is it bliss?

So did you know about the solar eclipse the other night? It took place over Asia...but the sunset that evening was breathtaking. I didn't even think to take a picture until it was just about gone...so this is what I captured!

Did you see!?

There was an incredible gift last night! It rained - it was beautiful! No matter what I love the rain when you can be out in it. That moment when you realize there's no avoiding it. That you will get wet and it is warm and you look around you and realize that time stands still for just a moment. If you don't slow down you could miss it. It was like this last night. It evoked so much emotion and I learned so much. Rain brings a sense of being able to move on at times. While driving home I encountered a mudslide. It was washed over the entire road and yet it was gone by the morning break because it moved on...the rain helped it move on. Sounds cheesy and may not even make that much sense but for me it doesn't have to. I got home and it was still lightening every which direction and so I went inside grabbed a blanket and laid out under the sky and just watched! It was so beautiful :) So until later I just have to say thank you to Mother Nature ;) she brought this emotion on. And to God! Holy cow you do love me...just look at what I got to see last night~and to Scott who agreed to come out with me last night for which if not I would've been sleeping and missed that small window of opportunity to learn. It doesn't take a genius for peeps to know I love Red Robin. No matter what RR is always there for me in the best and worst of times. I know I can always count on them when it matters most!

Anyways long story short I went the other day with Rach. I got the usual...turkey burger-hold the mayo with a side of mustard and cut in half and of course a side salad! yumm!

We're sittin there and Rachel said the most hysterical thing ever!

Rach "So what are you eating?"

Steph "Their turkey burger."

Rach "Oh is that like their vegitarian burger?"

Steph "No, it's just turkey."

Rach "oh ha ha ha oops" Duh

I love you Rachel hands down it was too funny!
