So don't we all at one point in our childhood wish money grew on trees? That toy in the window of the store we oh so loved growing up just calling our name...but as we grow up it's hard to let go of that concept. But guess what?! I am doing away with it! From now on it's fruit that I want! Which brings me to the point of me NOT spending money. Now this is a fantastically HUGE milestone in my life. Seriously peeps it has never been done. I even have given thought to getting rid of my phone. It hasn't happened yet and it's still just a thought at the moment but thoughts do turn into an action eventually. Now it's been just over a month since reading a post that helped inspire me. Thanks to my Classy friend I feel I have someone that I can look too for support. So tell me peeps what's something in your life you feel you have conquered or beginning to conquer that makes you feel fulfilled? Oh and J-Bow; seriously girl when are you gonna get wit it and leave a comment ;) Loves*

TV teaches me what not to do! Or just a really good laugh!

So I was watching some of my fave show last night (more like three hours worth) Totally my guilty pleasure peeps. But you would love it too if you knew what I saw last night.

Ha so there was this construction guy who came in because he'd fallen 4 days previous on the job site and injured his foot. He felt it was broken so he put it in a cast himself; made of concrete cement! OMG peeps who does that!? Didn't even phase him. So the docs had to cut it off and sure enough it was broken but there were chemical burns all over bc of the cement. So they get him all set in a new cast and then a fever pops up; uh oh! So they unbandaged the foot and don't see any sign of infection. If a guy is willing to make a concrete boot what else will he 'fix' himself? So he asks the pt and he said well when I fell I hurt my side as well. Expecting to see a small flesh wound he lifts his shirt and it's disgusting. Ha ha ha he stapled himself shut-this huge deep wound!! So now he's admitted to the hospital. Sucks for him; and this is a lesson to those w/o ins. DON'T do it yourself! Go to the ER otherwise you'll end up getting laughed at by me when I watch the show ;)

Ooh so another one I saw was this drunk fool comes in with a golf driver driven THROUGH his head; like in through the ear, the brain, the skull and out the top - eww. But this guy was coherent and was speakin a mile a minute and it didn't even phase him. Either way his tox screen came back with 5 times the legal amt for alcohol! This dude had been plastered and while in the OR they debated how they were going to get it out; do we pull it out the top or the bottom? Things like that. They ended up pulling it out the right ear and nothing changed-he was stable so they kept him out for a few days to heal and when he awoke everything had healed himself. He was left with no hearing in one ear and that's it. Too bad his cousin that did it too him will be facing attempted homicide.

Those were some highlights of the night that were funny and miraculous-oh wait one more a 17 year old boy came in with a horrible leg break - 4 breaks to be exact right below his knee. He had jumped from a second story window because he was with his girlfriend and turns out He swallowed butt loads of marijuana and methamphetamine because the girls dad was comin in and so then he jumped out the window. Dumb kids-yeesh!

Domestic Divas ROCK!

Posted by StephieMae 1 sweet comments
So I think I've had some extra time on my hands as of lately; want to know how I know?! Because I'm honing in on my domestic diva qualities that I acquired back in the day. I've been in the kitchen pretty much every day for the last couple weeks. It's been fun because I'm actually learning how to make things that my mum has tried to teach me for some time now I wish I could go back and pay attention. It's been fun coming up with new techniques and making my faves but tweaking them a bit. It's been fun making cupcakes and muffins and soups. That's all I've been doing actually but I love it all. I made french onion soup today-found a recipe I liked and went at it. Wow here I was thinking this was somethin that was hard and guess again peeps. It is the easiest thing ever and smells delish. I can't wait to dig into lata tonight for dinner. Yum!

My mother!

Posted by StephieMae 0 sweet comments
The point of this post is because yesterday in preparation for our dinner last night mum and I headed to the store to pick some things up. While there she struck up a conversation with several firemen that were conversing about recipes. I know random but hey that's my mum and definitely the reason I love her. But it was too cute to see her sharing ideas about what they could make and the genuine listening ear on their part. They couldn't wait to get a start on her suggestion. TOO CUTE peeps. Really now who just randomly does this? My mum that's who :) So because I'm telling you about it I figured I'd share the recipe with you. ENJOY and loves* Okay so actually I lied I can't find the recipe so I'll post it lata playas! Peace out

calm in the storm

Posted by StephieMae 0 sweet comments
Alright peeps so first off; where did this snow storm blow in from?! Totally random; I go into a function tonight with a wind storm on our hands with no snow in the forecast. (at least that I was aware of) Come out several hours later to inches of snow-random.

So to sum up my night all I have to say is He did it again. The Lord and his tender mercies were apparent tonight. Long story short a friend and I were left to fend off 15 kids between the ages of 3 and 11 tonight. It kind of just fell in our laps so we were not prepared at all and just played it by ear. I could see the Lord's hand in it all by nights end. It was the calm in what could have been a far worse storm tonight. Sounds awful but really it wasn't that bad - actually it was the best way to have spent a Friday night and in good company but man are we exhausted. Tuckered out but glad to have come home and able to enjoy some yummy hot cocoa goodness!

Things of the past...

TO ITCH OR NOT TO ITCH
One thing I want to tell you about that is such a thing of the past and should totally be done away with is bad reputations. So not cool peeps, and for things that should be given a chance. It's like Eeyore says "weeds are flowers too once you get to know them." So I think Scabies is givin' a bad rep. I mean really now scabies can't be all that bad.

I may end up taking that back if I ever actually have them burrowing in my skin; I'm already itching while I was reading about it. YUCK YUCK YUCK I lied peeps they can never be 'flowers' I would never want this so called scabies. But since I've already typed this all up I shall still post it.

The point of this whole post in its entirety is for Brett. Being such a lovely friend that He is decided that scabies was a wonderful gift to bestow TawnaKins with for her birfday. So to prove Him right we documented the life of scabies (in my eyes anyways this is the life he would live.) Enjoy*
Scabies enjoyin some of the birfday cake
He competed in the olympics with Phelps...and totally won it!!
Scabies LOVES his Coke...I think that TawnaKINS will break him of that habit soon...He enjoyed chillin wit Stephdeezy at the dunes.
TawnaKINS adores Scabies...more scabsters didn't know this was the treatment he'd get. Now he's thinkin twice about not burrowing in.
Even Okey warmed up to himHil wasn't too sure what to thinkHere is Scabie being introduced to DC...the best thing ever (esp on the rocks) duh no brainer

I guess Okey changed her mind about Scabies. Tawna was leaping to save his life. Poor thing never saw it comin'

Just for my TawnaKINS

TawnaKINS!!! I love your sparkling parsonality and the fact that it is your birthday and because of such day the celebrations must begin ASAP. Let's have a party and have lots of fun we can shake our patooties all night looong :D I'm glad you are home from your trip.

So I never knew this man pictured above but I feel like I should share his story. His name is John Breaux. He recently passed away; while cleaning up 287 He was hit by a car. But if you want to read all about it click here. But peeps I feel like after reading about this indiviual that I know of his great worth. He served and wasn't looking for anything in return for many a years-what a true example of charity in a sense. He helped keep the community clean and opened doors for people worked without pay wherever he went. Now I don't know if his story will inspire you at all but fo sho makes you think eh? What an inspiration and I can tell he will be missed.

So I am officially not over the whole holiday yet; I've decided that it is going to be daily in my life. Ha no but for realz peeps but I sure do love the concept of recognizing love any and everywhere. I have been doin it and let me say I wouldn't have it any other way. So anyways I had a great 'all about love day' It was so much fun to see some of my fave peeps at the won-ton party. I loved being to just hunker down for the night and enjoy the company of my beloved Asho and J-bow! I love these girls so SO much! They teach me so much and I admire and love them for all they do so a shout out to you both :) also it was great to have a few close others there all in all just the right amount of peeps so as to not feel overwhelmed. I don't know if ya'll feel that way at times but I know I sure do. Either way a great way I was able to feel love all around me yesterday was to attend the temple. For those that don't fully understand what that entails click here to learn more about what I believe. But really the love was there in an overflowing abundace! I then preceeded to take a looong nap. Made my day! That is until I met up with my friends for the night. You don't need a play by play so sorry for that but I just love to LOVE and feel loved! It is the bestest feeling around.

Let's hear it for the day of LOVE!

Posted by StephieMae 1 sweet comments

This is what I've been waiting for peeps! The big day has finally arrived...I LOVE spreading the love and everyone deserves to be told that they are loved and it's fun to personalize it with a card or something else of sorts. So let's do it peeps get to work. Ready? Break!

p.s. Yay for birthdays!!! Jenn I wish you the best birthday! Love you loads!

Free LOVE!

So I don't know if anyone really feels the same way about love as I do but holy cheese peeps I love Valentines Day! It is a day of love-all bets are off. Right? Well that's how I see it anyways. I love everything about this sometimes detested holiday. I love the cards and the baking and the party's and the dinners and the love! LOVE is in the air peeps, whether you want it there or not. NO joking. So I love that all in a weeks work I have been able to spread the love. I have been able to assist in the putting together a party for some yw in the stake, feeding a boys HS varsity basketball team, make heart shaped rice krispy treats for Spence's 1st grade party, and even do some baking of my own for peeps I love and care about. See spread the love; don't be all anti with a stick where it shouldn't be. Ha no but really I even came home to the cutest thing last night in celebration of the holiday. So I 'spose there's a few out there that love it just as much as I. So seriously peeps don't be all anti love day and don't try to set others up just take advantage of the love that's in the air! It can be love for any and everything. Like last night I was in love with my pancakes!! Heck yes let me send a shout out to the Denver Diner for allowing me to feel love! Also a quick note to the lovely Porter family! I got to chat with Austin and Sister Porter today and it made my day. I was baking these in the process of the phone call and now I wish I lived closer so I could send them some love on Valentine's Day! So from my heart full of love this wonderful time of year! I LOVE you guys!*

Abraham Lincoln once stated "And in the end it is not the years in your life that counts; it's the life in your years." I've had several wonderful experiences this week that have helped me back up this very statement. I know that I am far from perfection but it's always nice to know that you can find the Lord in your life. When I see these moments in my day to day living it makes me grateful for the life I am putting into my years. Although I am young I know that I've learned as much as I have because of that. Some ways I feel I put life into my years is through service. And if you listen carefully the Lord will help you know where you need to be to better serve those who may need someone at the moment. I also enjoy to spend time with others whom I feel can teach me something valuable. Thursday night Pancakes are beginning to become pretty consistent and I cherish that time together with my dear friend. It is really the only time I see him each week. All of these make me feel as though I am putting something valuable into my life. It is of worth. :D What are things you feel you do that add worth to your life?

JOY!! Here it is-I found it

So I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a fabulous enrichment meeting this weekend (or women's conference) We had a guest speaker who taught some amazing principles some that I really want to apply in my life. I'll break it down for you; of the two first commandments they have a commonality-LOVE. Perfect for this time of year right? Totally planned? I'm sure of it. But of course there is a forgotten commandment-thou shalt not compare. Duh peeps if you compare you will judge; and who wants to be judged? I say not it-I totally don't want it. So what's the big deal if we do compare? It allows us to be prideful which really ultimatly in the end erodes our self worth. Sad moment if we enable that. We need only compare from within oneself. That's the only individual we should comapre. US! None of us will ever be perfect but we can always be perfecting ourselves. And looking at where we have been and where we are going. If it is not a priority then do away with it. K it's as simple as that. So in the end peeps it's all about compasion; first to ourselves and then to everyone else. Be consistent and always daily be filling your bucket. IT's not hard - only if we make it hard does it become hard.

And a good song to go along with what we were taught this weekend (besides the one that was sung-Daughter of a King) is Man in the Mirror by Micheal Jackson. I used to sing this song all the time as a lil girl! I love it because it starts with you! I'M STARTING WITH THE MAN IN THE MIRROR-I'M ASKING HIM TO CHANGE HIS WAYS-AND NO MESSAGE COULD'VE BEEN CLEARER-IF YOU WANNA MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE-TAKE A LOOK AT YOURSELF AND MAKE A CHANGE! So let's do it peeps! Loves*

I pretty much love...

* Listening to audio cd's from church speakers; anything about Joseph Smith or about how the Lord is taking care of us and how to apply gospel principles. All great things I get from taking time to listen.

* Making new friends and getting to know the old ones better :)

* Pancakes!

* Watered down apple juice or better yet chocolate milk on the rocks.

* Baking; esp trying out new recipies and of course stayin true to the classic oldies but goodies.

* Weddings! They are so much fun; from the dancing to the eating to the attire gotta love it all!

* Going to the movies!

* Late night chats on the phone.

* Spending time with my family; any and all of them.

* unanswered prayers, not always what I'm looking for but definately find great joy in knowing that I can believe in myself because my Heavenly Father does.

* Sleeping by the poolside even better when it's at least 76 or warmer out.

* Green bananas; pretty much God's gift to me. Okay that sounds awful but I truly do love them :D

* Catching up with old friends; even if it's been a while you can pick up right where you left off.

* Blogging-it is such a guilty pleasure

* Chats with my mother; she cracks me up! Just today we had a wonderful conversation about card games. Ha so funny my mum is.

* My nieces and nephews; such beautiful gifts from a loving Heavenly Father.

* The smell of rain, esp late at night.

* Sports; watching them is the best ever.

* Roadtrips where you listen to any and everything talk about who knows what and then get back to normal when all is said and done. They are very profound things-roadtrips.

* Sleepovers with my baby sis-even though she can't stand the whole sharing a bed thing. You'd think it were the end of the world or something. Yeesh

* Recognizing God in my day to day life. There are so many tender mercies and I'm sure I don't catch them all but I know He's there and He has my best interest in mind. Even on the worst of the worst days.

* Mint hot chocolate really late at night or early in the morning-amazing! Even better with a candy cane.

* I have a pig fetish; I love the idea of hoping to own one when I am older.

* Reading any given talk from any general authority; I have a collection if you must know :)

* Writing cards to friends-I love the personal touch you can add vs just an email or facebooking them.

* Talking with the 'rents

* Crawling into bed on any given night! It's amazing.

Why did I bother?

Posted by StephieMae 0 sweet comments
So maybe I can't sleep-who's really keeping tabs anyways right? I got home late and I just am not ready to crawl into bed as of yet. So I decided to come up with a list of 25 things I wish I hadn't learned about others or that made me laugh because I love them so much and that's why it's on here either way they were all found through my facebook network. I know lame right ha ha. Enjoy

1. I LOVE to have mashed potatoes and hot chocolate together.
2. I also love dead bumble bees. They are so fuzzy and friendly when they're dead.
3. I secretly enjoy listening to bad rap music
4. I am a closet Donny Osmond fan
5. I have a scar the shape of Florida on my toe.
6. When I was a kid, I would eat gum off the bottom of my shoes and out of the trash can.
7.I have a really good memory. If you give me a date or event, I can usually tell you what I was wearing. (Try it sometime… You won’t be disappointed) haha
8.I brush my teeth in the shower because I am unbelievably messy and I get toothpaste foam all over.
9.I will go a month or more without doing my laundry.
10. My eye doctor recently told me that I sleep with one eye open… How he knows this, I have no idea, but I still think it’s pretty creepy!
11.I absolutely love pickels and peanut butter, together.
12.Taco Bell is my guilty pleasure. It doesn't matter how many times it makes me nauseous, I always come back to it.
13.I worry about everything, including coming up with 25 interesting things to say on this. I have worried about having a child that is disabled or would die, losing a limb and wetting my pants in public and I have no idea why.
14.I don’t have any sweat glands in my armpits and I also don’t have arm pit hair… lucky, I guess.
15.I have peed my pants to see what it feels like. On multiple occasions.
16.When I was younger I was convinced that I would die from spontaneous combustion
17. I have seen my four siblings naked. Some by accident and some on purpose. My little brother slid down my arm, naked, when he mooned me and fell over on me.
18. I can sing Row, Row, Row Your Boat and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star backwards.
19.I mulled over the decision to open a facebook account for a week, just to look at a friends photo album, and was going to close it immeadiately after.
20.After I poop, I turn around and look at the size
21.I always snag a straw from the places we go to.. it's the little things that make me happy.
22. I once got stuck in the antlers of a deer but was pulled out before getting hurt to much.
23. I have an extreme tolerance to medication, I have taken 5 times what killed Heath Ledger in one sitting intravenously (Sorry...too soon? lol).
24. I kinda pee a lot... it's unnatural.
25.I have a fake tooth, short pinky, fat ankles, and a knee cap that pops out. My mum says that I will never get married. She forgets that she has short pinkies too. That didnt stop her.

no bueno baking

So sad moment in my life :( I attempted to make a so called 'easy' recipe which I am sure of it being easy if I didn't always try to quadruple the recipe every time. Ha but no Hannah and I made it yesterday and it didn't turn out the way we thought. (perhaps because I added a lil too much of one ingredient) so I thought I'd try it out again and all I have to say is I'm super happy for the movie night so I can take them there. The peeps shall be the guinea pigs because I am not happy with the results. Man it sucks sometimes to be a perfectionist. Oh well right. I just enjoy the time to myself in the kitchen is all. Maybe they will taste better than they look.*

At the moment I'm...

READING The Infinite Atonement by Tad R. Callister. If you haven't read it I would say it is a must read. I read a lil blurb of it each night before turning in.

LISTENING TO I've been into audio books for a few years now and so at the moment I've been listening to Grace Works (also a great read) Charlotte's Web, and anything on the radio that isn't too overplayed.

WATCHING of course Gilmore Girls; is there anything better? And Corner Gas and I can't forget The Office. Of course always some time set aside to watch some b-ball or hockey as well :)

DREADING how I have still yet to find a job that is for keeps-all mine to enjoy

EXCITED ABOUT girls day with Jenn and Ash-yay for girl time! Oh and making my valentines day chocolate cheesecakes :)

CRAVING a good biography to read; guess I should get on that and head to the library.

THINKING if only I had time to crawl back in bed.

WANTING to paint my nails - I think I'll do it today and sleep in tomorrow - totally good idea.

HOPING I remember to pick up the Toblerone for tomorrow night, most likely won't *

25 Things I Didn't Want to Know About You

Posted by StephieMae 2 sweet comments
So let me tell you all first that this is the best article that I happened upon...we all know that if we've been keeping up on our facebook that we have at least been tagged more than several times to finally push you to do the 25 things note. Well read this article it will make you laugh and it may just make you grateful you aren't friends of friends of friends that wrote these facts...ha ha ha. ENJOY!

A girl I knew in high school has memorized all of Janet Jackson's dance routines. A college acquaintance is afraid of train whistles. Five separate people harbor lifelong desires to visit New Zealand. How do I know these things? Because they won't stop writing about them on Facebook! (See the 50 best websites of 2008.)

Facebook's "25 Things About Me" meme seems harmless enough; people write 25 facts about themselves and post them on their Facebook pages, just as they do with videos, status updates and photos of last weekend's party. An estimated 5 million of these notes — that's 125 million facts — have appeared on the website within the past week. Assuming it takes someone 10 minutes to come up with their list, this recent bout of viral narcissism has sent roughly 800,000 hours of worktime productivity down the drain. (Read "Does Facebook Replace Face Time or Enhance It?")

But it's just so stupid. Most people aren't funny, they aren't insightful, and they share way too much. Facebook is a loose social network; a "friend" on Facebook might translate to someone you'd barely recognize in real life. I don't care that my college roommate's sister is anemic or that my stepcousin's boyfriend gets nervous around old people (apparently he's afraid they're going to die). (See the best social-networking applications.)

Below are 25 facts I wish people hadn't told me about themselves. They come from friends, friends-of-friends, friends-of-friends-of-friends and coworkers. They are all real, though I wish some of them were not.

1. I eat tacos with a fork.
2. I was fat in middle school. The wake of that horror has yet to subside.
3. I keep forgetting that Barack Obama is our President. (See pictures of Obama behind the scenes on Inauguration Day.)
4. I have been pooped on by a monkey. (See the top 10 animal stories of 2008.)
5. I am addicted to the ass-slap dance move. Sometimes I don't even notice I'm doing it.
6. When I finally told my now fiancé that I liked him (as in, liked him liked him), I drunkenly gave him the Anchorman line, "I want to be on you." He had only seen the movie once and had no idea what it was from.
7. Just because I realize that Asian women are smarter, more attractive, and have about themselves a generally superior level of class does not mean I have a fetish. Just that I'm racist.
8. I eat gummy bears by tearing them limb from limb and eating their heads last.
9. I can't grow hair on my arms.
10. Two of my best friends are under five feet tall and I have an intense fear of midgets.
11. I think yoga is incredibly spiritual. I know the Lord is with me in my downward dog. (See pictures of facial yoga.)
12. I was born with jaundice.
13. I was born pigeon-toed.
14. I was born with an extra kidney. I wish I could have sold it on the black market and made some money, but it was underdeveloped and did nothing but cause me to wet the bed until the third grade.
15. I like to tape my thumbs to my hands to see what it would be like to be a dinosaur.
16. A horse once fell over while I was riding it.
17. I don't believe in democracy.
18. I cried when Spock died in Star Trek II. (See the top 10 1950s sci-fi movies.)
19. I drink two glasses of wine every night before bed. Wait, did I just admit to alcoholism?
20. If you asked me to tell you my favorite movie, I would have a hard time not saying Titanic. (See the 100 best movies of all time.)
21. I once sent a teacher into early retirement by pretending to be a cheetah and swiping at her from under a desk.
22. I once ran into New Kids On the Block's Joey McIntyre in the lobby of an off-Broadway show. I told him he was the first boy I ever loved. He laughed and kind of smiled. This was the most gratifying moment of my life.
23. My friends say that when they shave my back, I purr like a walrus.
24. I don't understand what people see in the Godfather trilogy.
25. Sometimes I think pee smells like Cheerios.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I've finally found something more stupid than Twitter.

What it's all about!

Posted by StephieMae 0 sweet comments
I am so grateful for the daily opportunities I am blessed with to feel of the Lord's love in my life. And in turn I am able to choose what I want to do with it. Which I believe is allowing others in my life to feel of that love as well...to let it carry over; pass it on. What a wonderful feeling that is! :) I love it. But this week I guess I could say I've been feeling not so charitable and as I read others updates and interact with those in my day to day life I feel of their love and passion for life. That's what it's about peeps. Doing all you can do and then leaving it up to others to choose what they do with it. It's all in their hands after you get to a certain point. I don't know if this makes much sense but I had to put it out there...loves*

Letter from the Editor...

Peeps! How goes it? I need to let ya'll know how horrible of an editor I've been as of lately. :( I have not been doing all that I can to insure that I screen my posts before allowing them to run. Therefore lacking in my editorial skills. Obviously not my calling in life-neither is writing for that matter. I don't want to print any retractions to any previous posts but I do apologize for my rantings towards no one in particular. I just needed to rid myself ha but now that it's out there you peeps can now know that all is well. You can sleep easily now knowing that I willl put more effort into not ranting about the specificities of my day to day dramatic life. If that even is possible ;) but halla if you wanna because I can take the heat! Loves*

So I'm not taking back what I previously stated about throwing the towell in but I would like to point out that I really do have loads of perfectly wonderful friends and family in my life. I am grateful for all they do for me. In reading a fellow bloggers post this morning I've been moved beyond words really to see what being a friend means to her. She is most likely unaware of my following her but she said something so simple yet so profound when speaking of an experience in her life.

“I’ll find a way to repay you,” is what my friend says on a daily basis.

“No need,” I counter. “It’s about time you let me help you for once. What I’m doing now is only a tiny fraction of what you’ve done for me for so many years.”

Fellow bloggers - it's not about becoming bitter or resentful to those that you feel have wronged you. It's about picking up the pieces and accepting that it is what it is. Everyone has their own ability to choose how they feel. Nobody can make you feel a certain way-you choose it. This being said I'm going to take some advice from a dear friend I met up with last night and choose to move on. I can't let what others do affect me in a negative manner. I love all those that I come in contact with no matter how long or short of a moment they are around in my life. I do love them and the memories shared.

I recently was reading an article that teaches a very simple principle. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this comes from a recent talk given in the last conference; by Elder Wirthlin.

"Come what may, and love it."

So often today we find it easier to blame everyone else around us for how we are feeling what we are experiencing, etc. It must not be that way-we must learn to embrace each day as a new opportunity to learn something new.

And as I sit here typing this all in a song comes on over the radio-Wilson Philipps; HOLD ON. Couldn't be a more fitting song for today.

You could sustain
Or are you comfortable with the pain?
Youve got no one to blame for your unhappiness
You got yourself into your own mess
Lettin your worries pass you by
Dont you think its worth your time
To change your mind?

Let's do it peeps-just make up your mind and do it. Whether you say you can or can't you're right. Peace out*

So I was thinking just now about someone who I miss a lot and also who I wish I talked to more than what I do. I need to be better about calling her-esp for the fact that she's my sister! If she's reading this; which I don't even know if she does follow my blog on a regualr basis I want her to know how much she inspires me. She makes me want to be a better person. And she has an amazing family that she has created. I love being able to share in that happiness that she and her husband have worked hard at on building.

Thanks for that Chels! I love you!

*not to say I don't love you just as much Baby. ;) I know you are reading this. Ha

What in the world peeps I think I've decided that I am so over the whole friends thing. What is the definition of a friend anyways. The encyclopedia states that its a noun: a person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection. Well from here on out if we're not in mutual liking with one another than I'm through. I throw the towel in and I'm over it. I had a wonderful evening last night. Spent with a friend that perhaps we may only talk once a month if we're lucky but I know I continue to call him and make an effort because I know the feeling is mutual. If the table was turned I know it'd be him making the effort; which I should state he does. I have several close friends that do just this very thing. Lame I should stop venting but I sure do need it sometimes.
